Electronic direct democracy

Should the United States adopt an electronic direct democracy? If yes, how would you enable the system? If no, why not, and are there any steps that might overcome your objection?

Yes, the United States should adopt an electronic direct democracy because the majority of people that are currently voting are old republican people that only take into consideration their own white privileged status. By having an EDD the U.S. will be giving millennials the opportunity to vote, millennials don't vote for two main reasons: 1) They're too lazy 2) They feel like it wouldn't make a difference. Having an EDD will potentially give millennials and society a voice. The EDD will be like an amber alert because although it might not seem important, you still acknowledge it's existence and look at it for a while because curiosity exists. The EDD should have a question and three choices, for example, 1) yes, 2) no,  and 3) Indifferent (as in your vote can go wherever). In addition, the EDD supports the modern enhancements we have up to date and it makes things easier for everybody. What this, in the end, would do is it would properly represent the population's thoughts by voting and not having things like transportation, time, or even lines limit them from voting.
